Atlanta's Most Loved
Italian Restaurant
XOXO
Cibo e Beve is the creation of chefs Gianni Betti and Linda Harrell. Working together at a Tuscan restaurant in Baltimore
in 1993, they discovered they shared the same dream, which was to create an Italian kitchen specializing in authentic
Italian cuisine featuring unique family recipes and traditional ingredients from Italy. Twenty-five years later,
Cibo e Beve came to life. Along with their one-of-a-kind recipes and select old favorites, the
restaurant features craft cocktails and an award-winning wine list.
Gianni Betti was born and raised in Regello, Italy, in the heart of Tuscany. After graduating from the Instituto
Alberghiero Aurelio Saffi in Florence, he and his brothers opened their first restaurant Fattoria degli Usignoli in
the countryside of Florence. After two successful years, Gianni came to the U.S. to work as a chef for Germano's
Trattoria Petrucci in Baltimore, Maryland, where he met Linda, and Cibo e Beve became an idea. But Gianni took
some detours. He returned to Italy to open Antica Posta Restaurant and Bed & Breakfast in the heart of the
Chianti region, a food connoisseur's destination in the Tuscan restaurant guidebooks. Then in 2008 he came
back to the U.S. to work as an executive chef with Posta Tuscan in Raleigh, North Carolina. He eventually
joined his brothers in Atlanta as an executive chef and general manager for Antica Posta in Buckhead.
In 2018 Gianni and Linda opened the doors to Cibo e Beve.
As an award winning chef, Gianni Betti has appeared on numerous television shows and has been featured
in multiple newspaper and magazine articles. His love of food and people make him a
welcoming presence at Cibo Atlanta.
Chef Linda Harrell brings more than 30 years of excitement to Cibo e Beve creating celebratory Italian cuisine.
Linda received her culinary foundation and formal European training working with acclaimed Chef Daniel Yves Abid,
a protégé of Alain Ducasse, at Kingsmill Resorts in Williamsburg, Virginia. Chef Harrell has cooked at the
prestigious James Beard House in New York City andwas featured on the National ABC-TV show "Eat & Greet."
She was a contestant on Food Network shows "Kitchen Inferno"and "Beat Bobby Flay." She has been featured
in publications such as the Atlanta Journal Constitution, the Baltimore Sun, Baltimore magazine, Flavors and
Atlanta magazine. She is a member of Les Dames D'Escoffier International and activelyparticipates in
demonstrations and benefits throughout Atlanta.

"Cibo is a great neighborhood restaurant with friendly service and awesome authentic Italian food! Chef Linda is amazing and is always willing to create beautiful dishes that make you want to come back for more! I attended the "Sauces Cooking Class" and learned so much from Chef Linda. Cibo e Beve is a great place for a glass of wine, a fun night with the girls, or a romantic dinner with hubby!"

"I saw this place on Atlanta Eats....the food looked so good I had to try this place out. I was absolutely pleased with the my entire experience. The wait staff and atmosphere were great. Most importantly, the food was out of this world. Best Italian cuisine I've had in Atlanta. Make this place a "must experience" on your list of places to enjoy fine dining with a casual and comfortable flair."
